At the University of Western Ontario, the Engineering and Ivey Business faculties are known for their excellence and innovation, attracting top students and faculty. Their friendly rivalry, based on mutual respect, is celebrated through competitive sports events organized by the Undergraduate Engineering Society (UES) and Ivey HBA Association (HBAA). These events promote sportsmanship, foster community, and raise funds for charity, while encouraging unity and collaboration beyond academics.
This year will mark the second year of both Men’s and Women’s Basketball, the third year of Women’s hockey, and the longstanding tradition of Men’s Hockey. Our vision for the future of this rivalry series is to attain equal attendance at both the men’s and women’s sporting events and provide invaluable resources to the community of cancer patients in London, Ontario, by increasing charitable contributions through the Canadian Cancer Society.
