Spectator Code of Conduct

GENERAL CONDUCT

The Eng vs Ivey Sports committee and the venues at which the events are hosted, are committed to creating an exciting, but safe experience for all spectators.

Spectators will be asked to leave, without refund, for inappropriate behavior including but limited to:

  • Unruly, disruptive, or illegal behavior

  • Interference with the progress of the game.

  • Verbal or physical harassment of officials, coaches, players, venue staff, or spectators

  • Signs of impairment that may lead to irresponsible behavior.

Sign Policy

Do’s and Don’ts of making signs:

DO:

✔ Support your faculty

✔ Support your friends

✔ Respectfully diss the opposing faculty

DON’T:

✘ Use profanity

✘ Use inappropriate photos

Please remember that this is a charity event. Signs that violate these guidelines are subject to confiscation.

Bag PoLICY

  • Each spectator will be allowed ONE small bag or clutch.

  • Bags will be searched upon entry to the venue.

  • Large bags will not be allowed into the venue.

Prohibited Items

Prohibited and disruptive items are subject to confiscation by event staff:

  • Outside food or beverage

  • Disruptive noise makers such as air horns, megaphones, whistles and others at the discretion of event staff

  • Alcoholic beverages and/or illegal drugs

  • Weapons

  • Any other item that is deemed by event staff to be dangerous or disruptive.

Hockey Canada Policies

Eng Vs Ivey Sports follows the laws of the game and player inclusivity rules as outlined by Hockey Canada’s Policies.

Canada Life Place Policies

At Canada Life Place, spectators are expected to oblige to the venue specific policies as outlined on their website.

Basketball Canada Policies
